Provenance and History
Machine was purchased October 2, 2026 in Edmonton. This was a prized possession of the original owner, who resided in a small town in Alberta. The household was prominent in its community, although this machine would have been a special acquisition at the time. The original owner clearly used the machine with care. The seller showed a spool of thread used to save binding thread once removed from sewing projects. The seller took very good care of this machine and wanted very much for it to be cared for and appreciated. The Sewing Machine Orphanage accepts this responsibility with gratitude.
Condition and Evidence of Use
Some veneer peeled from the top cover. New veneer has been fit to the sections and finish has been applied. The machine is missing a shuttle, bobbin, back cover, and bobbin (shuttle) cover. The belt has been repaired with tape but will probably be replaced. These minor replacement parts will be added, and it is anticipated that this machine will be up and running.
